Carla and I are working oh-so-hard to work matters right in our worlds. After my third marriage ended, (and let’s just say it “ended,” mmm’kay?) I just recognized it was time to make a shift. Not only some change, I’m talkin’ a heavy change, sweetheart.

Yet it only seems everybody wants to hold me out. Life is so difficult, ain’t it? When I saw my doctor to discuss the tummy tuck price I had been quoted, he only ragged me about finding the proper kind of exercise. He knows I have been doing everything I can, plastering on the scar zone cream and getting all my salon supplies to earn their cost.

But he just continues scolding me about diet and exercise, telling me my body would respond over the long term if I treat it as if I care for it it.

He is strong on biking, but I enjoined him bicycle seats bother me and I just cannot imagine putting on those small cycling jerseys. Is he trying to humiliate me? At least he became a bit more moderate when he began talking about stuff I could do in the solace of my own house.

Stationary bikes may certainly work easier for me than bicycling out in public and weight benches and exercise mats are a little more my style.

But I also argue that I obtain plenty of fitness in my day-to-day life. Just last calendar week I got tons of exercise tugging around Charlene’s garden cart as we adorned her property for her sister’s birthday party. Rearranging the outdoor bench layout for outdoor party seats after moving the Weber Charcoal Grill made for some good weight lifting. And then the stretches and effort required to get all those position proper was like aerobics.

Does it sound like I am making excuses? I do not care, friend, that was hard work! After all that decoratin’ and partyin’ I bet I burned a thousand calories. I dare some treadmill joggin’ fool to press garden carts around for 3 hours and see how they feel.

I don’t mean to sound querulous. I will get it all together. I just wish people would occasionally focus on what I’ve finished instead of what I still need to do. I know it isn’t easy being you, but it is not simple being me, either. We all got to work strong to be happy, I suppose.
