The Uluwatu temple is a very popular spot among the tourists who comes to Bali and  enjoying the sunset view. Some people belief that the name of the temple came from the  ancient words which mean temple on the tip of the cliff.  The Uluwatu temple like its name is set on  the tip of the cliff facing to the stunning view of sunset over the Indian ocean. The entrance gate which you can see at the  temple is the same like a entrance which can be found on mosque complex in Sendangduwur  Village, Lamongan, East Java. Beside because of the fantastic view of sunset, the uluwatu temple also boast  as ne of the oldest temples in Bali.

Most surfers would agree that the area around the uluwatu  temple like Dreamland, padang Padang, Labuan Sait and Bingin are their exclusive  playgrounds. Uluwatu’s beach is considered one of Bali’s best surfing spots,  attracting surfers from all over the world.  Uluwatu beach not only offer sunset over the cliff but in recent years have becoming as  one of Bali renowned surf spot which offer various challenges for experienced  surfers. You are not  a surfer? dont worry eventhough you are not a surfer then visiting the Uluwatu beach  can be rewarding by enjoying the sunset view from the restaurant around the beach.

Most of villas in Uluwatu are commercially dedicated for vacation rentals  accommodations. Most villas in Uluwatu would have the magnificent view commanding the  Indian Ocean. You will find many kind  of private villas around Uluwatu to suit your needs and budget. One of the beach  in Uluwatu is Dreamland beach where you must access through rough road but its paid off  when you get to the beach or to the surrounding villas. Some private villas here have  a helicopter landing pad at the backyard of the villas to overcome the bumpy road  access.
