After another impressive win at Old Trafford last night against Aston Villa with the help of Wayne Rooney who scored two goals in a match for the first time in over 11 months, and doubled his premier league tally for the season. Add to that a great strike from the skipper Nemanja Vidic to totally kill the game off after Villa had managed to get a goal back to take the score to 2-1.
This leaves the champions elect 5 points clear of their nearest rival Arsenal at the top of the table and 9 points clear of the other team in Manchester plus 10 points clear of Chelsea. With only 14 league games left in the season the title is there for United to win.
If they are able to win the Premiership again this year that would also mean that they would overtake Liverpool as the team who has won the most league titles. They are also on the verge of beating their club record for the most consecutive games unbeaten in the Premier League, and a win or draw at Wolves on Saturday will give them the 30 game run that they need.
Apart from their impressive league position United are still in the draw for both the FA cup with a home draw against Crawley you would expect them to go through to the next round in that cup. But also the Champions league with their next match at Old Trafford against Marseille, this will be a good test for United who would dearly love to do the treble again this year.
With the Champions league final being held at Wembely this year it would mean at least the faithfull United supporters would not need to take out a bad credit Loan to fund travel to see their team in the final. They may need a logbook loan to help pay for hopefully the next 3 away games before then. It is probably worth keeping on top of what is happening in the uK finance industry by checking out this great UK loans blog.
