To ensure you are not consuming too many nutrients, try watching your calorie content and reviewing your portion quantities. You might uncover this is all you needed to re-start your motivation.

3. You are letting too many ‘unnecessary’ puddings pass under the radar

An additional biscuit here or eating a few mouthfuls off children’s plates there, all equal extra nutrients that you don’t require.

Note: the more lbs you shift, the less calories your system will require to work. This means as you continue shedding lbs, you will have a lesser calorie leeway between the additional nutrients you can indulge in. If you are finding it hard to keep track of your calorie intake, start keeping a food diary and monitor everything you eat and their calories. You’ll soon discover where you are going wrong.

4. You treat the weekend as your days off

Whilst you should never deny yourself your favorite snacks during your diet, neither should you treat the weekend as as a time to stray. At this stage in your diet, it is important to remain constant and ensure that you are not drinking more alcohol or eating larger meals. Although the additional lbs you put on during this 2 day break are just water weight, these lbs can mount up.

To help, design a weekend meal regime to help you remain on track and use a food journal to review your intake.
