Chapter 2
We took Bobby back to vet after 14 days. He has put on some onces and doctor is very happy with how he is coming along. He got his first kitten shots and was tested for feline leukemia. His tests came out clean and we are very happy. I brought him home and let other cats see him. They are underwhelmed. We are thrilled.
We give him bottles, burp him, potty him and love him. He’s doing great. At age 5 weeks we have Thanksgiving dinner. All our friends hugs and loves on him. We take him to see Santa and have his picture taken with the man in red. He is so small, he is smaller than the baby cats in store awaiting adoption. We are very pleased he is doing so well.
After a month and a half he is off the bottle and box trained. Robert takes care of him for a week while we go to Vegas. Robert brings Coral over to see the “cutest kitten in the world”. Took me a few days to wean him. Ground up kitten kibble in a coffee grinder and mixed it with the formula. Put some on my fingers and he suckled off as though it was a bottle. After 2 days he was a pro, and a few days after that he was using the litter box. He can jump out of his box, so we rolled the box on its side and Bobby uses the box as his home.
